The New 2017 Buick LaCrosse was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The yet to arrive vehicle is newly redesigned and engineered with enhanced technology to increase performance. The new LaCrosse is an improved version of second generation LaCrosse. The new 2017 Buick LaCrosse will be competing in the premium full-size segment of luxury cars against Lexus ES, Acura TLX, Lincoln MKS, and Chrysler 300.
Exterior and Interior
The new Buick LaCrosse 2017 is lighter than its predecessor with a weight of 300 pounds. It is also lower, longer, and wider than the previous model. The exteriors are redesigned to create an expressive road presence. Front wheels have been moved forward and the wheelbase is stretched. The car has further been given a dynamic room with a lower roofline and a new single cockpit design. The new LaCrosse also features an advanced grille design that is available with a large opening. The car comes in three colours– red, silver and blue with Buick tri-shield insignia, complemented by wing-shaped elements.
The interiors of the new Buick LaCrosse 2017 have also been modified. The car now comes with an easier rear seat entry thereby providing more storage space below the console. The technology is improved and is available with 8 inches touch screen with Wi-Fi hotspot. Also the perforated leather seats give it an entirely new look. A floating centre control is also incorporated that comes with new Electronic Precision Shift.
Engine and Mileage of 2017 Buick LaCrosse
The new 2017 Buick LaCrosse will come with 3.6 L engine- V6 model. It is a fuel efficient engine that comes along with all-new eight speed automatic transmission, direct injection, and dual overhead cams. It’s loaded with features like active fuel management and start-stop technology. The engine is estimated to provide 305 horsepower and/a torque of 268 lb/ft.
Price and Release Date of 2017 Buick LaCrosse
Photos of the vehicle have been released online at the official site of Buick. The price for New 2017 Buick LaCrosse is yet to be announced. However, the expected price range can be as low as $30,000 for the base model to $50,000 for the top range model. The vehicle will be launched in all markets including North America and China. The car is expected to arrive at the dealers all over U.S. in the early summer of the year 2016.
