Audi Q5 e-tron model that will soon have its premiere, and which is intended for the Chinese market first.
Based on the MEW mechanical platform of the VW Group for electric cars, the Q5 e-tron shares a wheelbase with the Volkswagen ID.6. This means that it has a spacious and practical passenger cabin that can probably accommodate up to three rows of seats and 7 people.
2022 Audi Q5 e-tron Specs
There are three drive variants: two with one and one with two electric motors and all-wheel drive.
The base 35 e-tron has a 180 hp (132 kW) electric motor, while the slightly more powerful 40 e-tron has a 204 hp (150 kW) unit. Both options have rear-wheel drive.
At the top of the offer will be 50 e-thrones with two electric motors. The weaker one, on the front axle, delivers 109 hp (80 kW), and the more powerful one, located at the rear, produces 204 hp (150 kW).
Thanks to this configuration, the Audi Q5 50 e-tron has an all-wheel drive.

Data on the battery is not known, but it is expected that from VW ID.6 with a capacity of 77 kWh. In the Volkswagen model, the battery provides a range of close to 590 km, according to the final NEDC measurement standard.

More details about the Audi Q5 e-tron will be known after the premiere, and this car will arrive in showrooms in China at the end of the year 2021. For customers in Europe and the USA, Audi is preparing a slightly more luxurious 2022 Q6 e-tron in the same class, which will arrive on the market in the second half of 2022.
