BMW Motorrad is proud to present the new K 1600 line for 2022, which consists of 2022 BMW K 1600 GT, K 1600 GTL, K 1600 B and K 1600 Grand America models.
2022 BMW K 1600 Specs
There is primarily an update of the regular six-cylinder engine, which now meets Euro 5 emission standards. However, it still delivers 160 hp, albeit at a lower revs. What has increased is the maximum torque, which is now 180 Nm and available at 5,250 rpm.
The 2022 models now bring several different driving modes. There are Road, Dynamic and Rain, while Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) ensures undisturbed driving enjoyment regardless of road conditions.
The German giant now also brings a new generation of Dynamic ESA electronic suspension, which brings the option of automatic adaptation to driving conditions.
In addition to receiving BMW’s new adaptive LED lighting, the K 1600 line also has a new 10.25-inch TFT instrument panel, which can be fully accessed via the BMW Motorrad Connected application. The volume of the tank is 26.5 liters.
It should be mentioned that the GTL and Grand America got the BMW 2.0 audio system, which is included in the basic equipment package.
2022 BMW K 1600 Price
2022 BMW K 1600 B bagger, starts at around $23,000, Next is the K BMW 1600 GT and MSRP around $24,000 for the base model. The K 1600 GTL cost is around $27,000 for the 2022 model. The most expensive bike is the K 1600 Grand America at the price around $28,000.
2022 BMW K 1600 Release Date
All BMW K 1600 series bikes will be available in February of 2022.
