The official teaser for “WeCrashed” has been released, a new, upcoming mini-series for Apple TV Plus, in which Jared Leto plays “WeWork” co-founder Adam Neumann and Anne Hathaway as Neumann’s wife and business partner Rebekah Neumann.
The eight-episode series dramatizes the rise and fall of WeWork, a startup real estate company that provided flexible shared workspaces but could never make a profit.
The limited series, also starring Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and OT Fagbenle, is based on the Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork” by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crewell. They also serve as creators and writers of the show.
Screenwriting, directing and production duo John Requa and Glenn Ficarra directed and produced the mini-series. Requa and Ficarra’s merits include writing and directing “I Love You Phillip Morris” and “Focus.” They also directed “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and the pilot episode “This Is Us”.
