Ducati continues with the premiere of new models with the official presentation of a machine called XDiavel Nera, made in collaboration with the Italian workshop, Poltrona Frau.
Ducati XDiavel Nera was the main protagonist of the seventh episode of the online series of presentations, called Ducati World Premiere.
Created in a proud factory in Borgo Panigale, XDiavel Nera brings to life the values of two separate companies, Ducati and Poltrona Frau, who share the same passion for design, craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology and a penchant for innovation.
The result is a sports cruiser produced in a numbered edition, limited to only 500 units.
Ducati XDiavel Nera has “Black on Black” graphics, which creates a sportier look enriched with Ducati Red aesthetics that are easily recognizable on the brake calipers and bonnets.
If that wasn’t enough, the XDiavel Nera comes with fully finished wrought-iron rims in glossy black.
However, the motorcycle stands out with its custom-made Pelle Frau seat (soft natural leather developed by Poltrona Frau) available in five colors: Siam Red, Steel Blue Cemento, India and Selva.
The letter “X” is also visible on the seat, engraved with a sophisticated laser process.
New 2022 Ducati XDiavel Nera specs
Beneath the tubular steel frame is the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine capable of 160 hp at 9,500 rpm and 127Nm of maximum torque at 5,000 rpm.
The new Euro5 configuration also ensures that the engine is more responsive at lower revs.
For 2022, Ducati has also reduced the height from the ground to the seat to 755 mm to offer better ergonomics and comfort when driving at low speeds.
XDiavel Nera also provides a maximum tilt angle of 40 degrees, thanks to a new 240 mm wide tire mounted on an 8-inch channel.
The stopping power comes in the form of a Brembo monoblock M50 jaw paired with a 320 mm double disc at the front and a 265 mm single disc at the rear.

The 2022 Ducati XDiavel Nera motorcycle will be available at the price of $29,000 USD.

According to the Italian company, Ducati XDiavel Nera will be available in showrooms from March 2022. In the XDiavel line, it will be accompanied by Ducati XDiavel Dark and Ducati XDiavel S.
