A car for a new era: Alfa Romeo unveils new C42
Alfa Romeo F1 team ORLEN has revealed a new color for its car, which will compete in the Formula 1 championship in the 2022 season.
In Barcelona, Alfa Romeo drivers, Valteri Botas and Guanju Joe, drove cars that had camouflage black and white paint, but now there is a new design

“I am impressed with the C42 car. The painting is beautiful, the design is brilliant. I can’t wait to test the car in Bahrain. The tests we had helped confirm our great expectations from the start of the new season, “said Valteri Botas, who will make his official debut in Alfa Romeo next season after four years at Mercedes.
“I’m always excited when the new season is about to start – that means hundreds of people will be working on one project. We can’t wait to see the C42 in full force, not only because of the new challenges that will make racing more equal, but also because we have great self-confidence and trust in our team and expect great results, “said team leader Fredrik Vasor.
The first weekend in the Formula 1 calendar for the 2022 season is on the program from March 18 to 20, and there will be a race for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Follow Formula 1 in live broadcasts exclusively on the Sport Club channels.
Will Mazepin be kicked out of Formula 1?
Russian Nikita Mazepin, the driver of Hasa, will most likely be expelled from Formula 1. The reason is Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
This news was confirmed by Guenter Steiner, the head of the Haas team, who pointed out that the fate of the Russian ace in the fastest caravan is uncertain.

“It simply came to our notice then. “Teams and governments will decide, and I really don’t know what can come from which side,” Steiner pointed out.
One of Haas’ main sponsors is the Russian company Uralkali, owned by billionaire Dmitry Mazepin, who is closely associated with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Hasu has already been banned from advertising them on the car. Mazepin’s departure would be the next step towards eliminating Russian influence.
“Uralkali is just one of the sponsors. “I am convinced that we will continue with the competition without any problems,” Steiner said.
