Buyers who have reserved their copy immediately after the 2019 Tesla Cybertruck premiere will have to wait for delivery for more than two years.
After last week’s speculation that the start of production of the Tesla Cybertruck electric truck will be postponed to 2023, confirmation of this news has been officially announced by Tesla.
When announcing the financial results for the second quarter, it was said that production would start in Austin, Texas, afRelease Dateter the Model Y, but without specifying a specific date.
In the meantime, the online configurator has been updated, stating that the conclusion of orders will be possible only with the start of production in 2023.
As a reminder, the Tesla Cybertruck was introduced in November 2019, which means that all those who immediately booked their copy will have to wait for delivery for more than two years.

Tesla Cybertruck single-motor version will be released in late 2023. We can expect the same for the Cybertruck with a dual-motor AWD version.

Elon Musk announced that the new Tesla Cybertruck with Single Motor RWD will start at $39,900 USD or $50,008 CAD before incentives, there are two more AWD variations the price for Dual Motor AWD will start at $49,900 USD or $66,293 CAD and for Tri Motor AWD the price is $69,900 USD or $92,864 CAD.
What is the range be on the Tesla Cybertruck?
Tesla Cybertruck with a single motor RWD version will offer 250+ miles of range. Cybertruck with dual-motor all-wheel-drive version (AWD) will reach 300+ miles of range, and Cybertruck with a tri-motor AWD version will have 500+ miles of range.

Cybertruck has Tesla Armor Glass, which is intended to protect the windows from shattering and Cybertruck is built with a stainless steel exterior exoskeleton and an option to add solar panels to the roof that would charge up to 15 miles per day with a retractable solar bed cover.
