General Motors has announced a new generation of Chevrolet Montana pick-up vehicles for the South American market, which will have its main rivals in models such as Fiat Toro and Renault Oroch.
The Montana is based on the GEM (Global Emerging Markets) platform, on which the Chevrolet Tracker and Chevrolet Onix are also built.
The vehicle has a four-door cab, while its dimensions have not yet been announced.
With a more modern design inspired by newer models of this brand, the new Chevrolet Montana will also get a more spacious interior, as well as a 1.2 turbo engine with 133 HP (with manual and optional automatic transmission). As things stand, only front-wheel drive will be offered
Montana will go on sale in January 2023, with the premiere taking place later this year.
