The Golden State Warriors announced the health condition of their basketball player Klay Thompson.
Klay Thompson is one of the better back shooters in the NBA league and a man who has saved the Golden State Warriors several times in the playoffs.
He suffered two serious injuries in a row: tearing of the anterior cruciate ligaments of his left knee and rupture of the Achilles tendon on his right leg.
The Warriors star suffered the first injury in the final series in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors, and then the second most serious injury in sports at one of training session – the Achilles tendon.
Thompson won three championship rings with the Warriors and was an All-Star participant five times.
That is why Klay Thompson missed two full seasons, and according to his Warriors team, he is recovering and responding very well to the therapies, so his return is expected for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

“The exact date of his return will depend on the recovery process. Klay had surgery on November 25, 2020, due to a torn Achilles tendon, and he is expected to participate in some exercises at our training camp these days,” the Warriors said.
(Updated November 23) Shams Charania, an Athletic journalist, reports that the Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson is returning at the end of December, a week before Christmas.
