Ducati has unveiled a new Pikes Peak version of its Multistrada V4 motorcycle, continuing the tradition of creating a more sporty adventure touring car.
This time, things have been raised to a much higher level, primarily because the Italian company has positioned the basic Multistrada V4 as an ADV motorcycle for all occasions. That’s how the 19-inch front wheel and double-sided rear fork were found on it.
2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak Specs
The new Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak 2022 has a 17-inch front wheel, one-sided rear fork and a host of other sports-focused elements.
Accordingly, the Pikes Peak version has undergone certain ergonomic changes.
About 3.6 kg, the new version has lost weight, which in combination with the Granturismo V4 engine and its 167 hp brings one powerful sports touring.
Ducati especially emphasizes the fact that the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is the most sporty ADV motorcycle on the market. The Italians have such a high opinion of the new model that they have added a racing mode to its arsenal of electronics. The mode itself is connected to Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 components.
The Pikes Peak model also has a semi-active suspension system, which is worth mentioning because in the previous variants there was only Ohlins mechanical suspension.
The new Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak 2022 comes with common electronic assistance systems, such as ABS, traction control and a quickshifter.
There’s also a 6.5-inch TFT instrument panel and Bosh adaptive cruise control. We will also mention the Brembo Style brake calipers with front 330mm front brakes.
As a point on the “i” comes the Pikes Peak graphics, which Ducati states is inspired by the MotoGP racing motorcycle.
