Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 11 series a few days back in China. The Redmi Note 11 series consists of three phones – Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Now, within days of launch, Xiaomi has released a source code based on Android 11 for the Redmi Note 11 Pro (codenamed Pissarro).
The Redmi Note 11 runs the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro + runs the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC.

While source code may not be useful to ordinary users, it will be of great help to developers and professionals who want to get the most out of their devices. Kernel source codes help developers create custom kernels and custom ROMs for the phone. You can go to GitHub to look at the kernel sources.
It will be interesting to see how well the customized ROM support for the Redmi Note 11 Pro will be, given that it has a MediaTek processor. For those who don’t know, devices on Snapdragon usually get better development support compared to those powered by MediaTek processors.
