With a short announcement and a darkened teaser image, Kia announces that it will present a new concept with electric drive on November 11th.
This is the Kia EV9 Concept, which also announces the future serial model, and which will apparently be the largest electric SUV model in their range.
The EV9 will be larger than the Sorrento, perhaps even at the level of the Telluride model sold in North America. That would then mean that the EV9 will also have three rows of seats, but that has not been confirmed yet.
For now, it is known that the EV9 will use the E-GMP platform developed in collaboration with Hyundai, while more details are yet to follow.
In addition, Kia is announcing more information about its commitment to a sustainable future for November 11th.
