The sequel to the series “Sex and the City” called “And just like that” has been renewed for the second season, despite numerous negative reviews.
HBO Max confirmed this news today, and the main actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Christine Davis will play their roles again.
“It is my pleasure to tell more stories of these brave heroines,” series creator Michael Patrick King told Variety.
The spinoff, a popular series that marked the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, met with numerous criticisms, from the beginning of showing to the broadcast of the last episode in February this year. What was especially commented on was the way the creators of the series decided to cast the character of Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall.
Let us remind you, Kim Katral did not want to join this gathering due to personal disagreements with the rest of the cast, but she also thought that she could no longer interpret the character of Samantha Jones. “That’s enough, let’s leave her alone,” she once said in an interview, before the filming was even considered.

As of this writing, there is no official release date for And Just Like That Season 2 series but it is expected to be premiered by the end of 2022.
