While Apple faces supply chain limitations with its current line of iPhone, the Korean medium TheElec reports that Pro models will bring 48-megapixel selfies next year in the hole at the top of the screen. For iPhone 14 Pro of 6.06 inches and iPhone 14 Pro Max of 6.7 inches is said to use LG Display LTPO 120Hz OLED panels and will be the only models to have a new look.
The iPhone 14 models, which should have of 6.06-inch models and the new 6.7-inch version, will still have a notch and their screens will be delivered by BOE. Starter models are not expected to offer LTPO screens and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The article predicts that BOE will start delivering LTPO panels for the iPhone 15 series in 2023. Apple is also expected to bring a revised iPhone SE 2022 model with the same design as the current model, but with an additional 5G connection.
