As things stand, the days ahead of CD Projekt RED are much better. Cyberpunk 2077 is slowly getting the contours of the game as it should have been initially, the team from this Polish studio is working hard to correct the remaining technical problems and the next-gen version that should come out during the first quarter of next year. But that’s not all, because there are new big projects in front of this development team.

In a recent interview for a Polish publication Commonwealth, president of CD Project RED Adam Kicinski talked about the future plans of this company, emphasizing that they are focused on their two big franchises, The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
When are games going to be released
During the interview, Kicinski stressed that development on the new games from the mentioned franchises should start sometime next year, which again means that We will not see The Witcher 4 and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 (whatever it is called in the end) for at least a few more years.
Anyway, it’s nice to hear that the studio that was once known for the quality of its hits is slowly getting back on track, after the whole circus that caused the release of an unfinished and technically very problematic version of Cyberpunk 2077.
