The Citroën My Ami Buggy Concept is the full name of a design concept designed by Citroën designers based on the small Ami electric vehicle. If it ever goes into production, it will be the perfect vehicle for the beach or a short adventure in nature
The Citroën Ami is an electric micro car, usually legalized for the road as a quad bike, its body is made mostly of plastic, while the drive is a modest electric motor with a power of only 8 hp. With a 5.5 kWh battery, its autonomy is about 75 kilometers in city driving. Of course, city driving is almost the only option, because the highest speed that Ami can reach is only 45 km / h. However, Citroën has already introduced a version of the Ami that will be the smallest city delivery vehicle, and now they have redesigned it – in the off-road buggy.

Citroën My Ami Buggy Concept is a vision of a vehicle that allows short adventures in nature, on the beach or other exciting roads, and is the ideal vehicle to enjoy the weekend – say the authors of this concept. Practical, fun and completely free of harmful emissions, this micro car should provide the pleasure of driving in nature, and the fact that the doors have been removed and a panoramic roof has been added puts the driver and co-driver in direct contact with the environment.

The concept also got off-road wheels, bumpers, additional lights and “bull-bar” bars for protection from difficult terrain – everything you need for an adventurous ride or camping. In case of rain, the Ami Buggy can be shielded into a tarpaulin that replaces the door, while the panoramic roof can also be closed as needed.

Citroën says that the Ami was created so that it can be easily processed using 3D printing techniques. All accessories for the Ami Buggy can be easily printed out and mounted on the vehicle in this way, according to the customer’s wishes. This is primarily a concept that shows the possibilities of finishing the Ami, a completely atypical city car, whose price is around 6,000 euros.
