This announcement does not come as a surprise, since Rockstar Games did not try to keep the existence of the game in strict secrecy, as evidenced by various previously leaked information.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy has now been officially announced by the stone star developer. The trilogy will consist of GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas games, and in addition to the aesthetic improvements (classic for remasters), fans will also receive modern improvements in the gameplay.
Improvements are coming to bring the games closer to today’s audience standards and habits, but Rockstar has also promised that all 3 games will preserve the classic look and feel that we older gamers remember.
Along with the announcement of the remastered release of GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas games, comes a somehow controversial decision to withdraw all original games from digital stores. Quite a bad decision, since there are still enthusiasts who enjoy the original versions more.
