Do you like the NBA game, do you think you know the events well? Show us how much you know and play with us as we follow the best basketball in the world.
This season, with a special, we bring you the opportunity to compete together and show how well we know the NBA league.
The NBA Fantasy Basketball League rules of the game, step by step.
For starters, in brief:
Sign up for NBA Fantasy. You have a budget of 100 million to choose 7 (seven) players: Center, Power Forward, Small Forward, Point Guard, and Shooting Guard with two “flex” (any position).
When you gather a team, you choose one Star that brings double points (like a captain in a PL fantasy). During the season, you also have two “bonuses”: MVP – allows one player three times more points (can be used twice a season); Wildcard – you can make up to 15 changes for free (maybe 2x in season)
You can choose from up to three different NBA Fantasy teams to manage throughout the season.

Teams
You have an initial budget of $100 million that you will spend on your team of 7 NBA players that you manage throughout the season.
Your teams will score points based on the performance of your chosen players in real NBA games – all 7 of your players score points each week of play. There is no limit to how many players you can choose from any NBA team.
You can make as many changes to the team as you want before the start of the season. It is the last saved version of your team each week that enters all the leagues you have joined.
In the beginning, you have a budget of 100 million dollars that you will spend on your players. As your players increase or decrease the price during the season, these price changes are reflected in your total value, which is the sum of the value of your team and the remaining budget.
If the value of one of your players’ increases, you can lock that price increase by removing it from your team so that you have more budget available to spend on other players.
As such, your available budget and the available budgets of other players in NBA Fantasy may be greater or less than $100 million as the season progresses.
You can choose from up to three different NBA Fantasy teams to manage throughout the season.

Joining leagues
Leagues allow groups of people to enter against each other in their NBA Fantasy teams and compete for first place in the league table.
Leagues can last from two weeks to the entire season. Your Team 1 automatically joins the Global League, as well as the league of your home country and the league of your favorite NBA team – only your “Team 1” can be included in these leagues.
In the league lobby, you can join as many public leagues as you want.
You can also create and enter leagues with your friends – these can be one-time (one team per user), double (up to two teams per user) or triple (up to three teams per user) leagues.
These leagues can be private or public and can be easily joined by friends via a unique code for each league.
NBA Fantasy Basketball Positions
Each player is assigned a position: Center, Power Forward, Small Forward, Point Guard, and Shooting Guard
In addition to selecting one player from each of these five-set positions, you also have two flexible positions where you can select two additional players from any position, giving you a total of seven NBA players on your team.
The position assigned to each player may be subject to change based on game trends.
NBA Fantasy Basketball Team management
Before the start of the season, you can make as many changes to your teams as you want.
When the season starts, you get a “Subs Bank” as described below to manage the team each week of the game.
You also get two “jokers” per season as described below.
Subs Bank
Subs Bank allows you to make up to 7 changes in your team each week of the game before the team lock time.
The first three substitutions every week of the game are free, with additional substitutions for which a penalty of -50 points per substitution is provided. Each time you save a team replacement, your Subs Bank is reduced by one.
You can only make as many substitutions in your team as your Subs Bank allows before the team lockout time. Unused substitutions are not carried over to the next week of play.
Since prices are constantly changing due to dynamic pricing, you can use your Subs Bank to increase your budget above $100 million, so that as the season progresses you will be able to afford better players who score more points.
NBA Fantasy Basketball Star Player
You have to choose one player per team who will be your star every week of the game, this player will score twice as many points.
Your “Star Player” may be a different player each week of play, but must be selected before you save your team.
You can change Star Player every week of the game without penalty because Star Player changes do not count as a replacement.
If your Star Player ends up with negative points, his negative score will double: -2 points will become -4 points.

NBA Fantasy Basketball MVP
The most valuable player (MVP) is an amplifier that multiplies the points won by the selected player 3 times. In addition to your Star Player, any player on your team can be selected as your MVP.
You get two MVP games per season, one before the All-Star break and one after. If you don’t use your first MVP game before the All-Star break, it won’t stay after the break. Once your MVPs are played, you cannot use them again until the end of the season.
If your MVP ends up with negative points, its negative result will triple: -10 points will become -30 points. You can check here who is MVP 2022 candidate
Wildcard
Wildcard allows you to make up to 15 substitutions for free during the week of the game, allowing you to completely reset the team and make additional substitutions to increase your budget.
You get two Wildcard games per season, one before the All-Star break and one after.
If you do not use your first Wildcard before the All-Star break, it will not be retained after the break. Once you play your Wildcards, you will no longer be able to use them until the end of the season.
NBA Fantasy Dynamic Pricing
Prices are constantly changing based on performance and users changing the team.
With your Subs Bank, you can increase your budget above $100 million by adding and removing players from your team each week of play, giving you more to spend on other players as the season progresses.
Because prices can change frequently, the price of a newcomer will apply at the time you save your team, even if that price is slightly different from the price you saw on the screen when you originally selected a player.
Team Lock
At the start of the first NBA game each week of play, all teams are locked and substitutions can no longer be made for that week of play.
When the team is locked, all fantasy teams for that week of the game become visible to all users on the leaderboards.
The next week of the game also opens at team lockout time, so you can continue to add and remove players from your teams and increase your available budget for the next week of the game.

Lineups
While teams are managed during the season, disposable teams are set up to enter short-term games called contests.
The lineups also contain 7 NBA players for a fixed budget of $100 million and are selected from NBA teams that play in one day to one week of play.
Since the sets are disposable, they do not use dynamic prices, all player prices for the sets are fixed.
Contests
While the leagues last from one week of play to the entire season, the competition is shorter – from one day to one week of play.
Only lineups can enter the competitions.
The advantage of the competition is that the outcome is decided quickly, so regardless of whether you finished first or last, a new competition is available the next day.
NBA Fantasy Scoring
Your players score points based on their performance in real NBA games. All 7 players score points according to the scoring table.

Live Gameday
All information about NBA players is updated in real-time, so you can track the total points of your teams and lineup as the game progresses.
Competition scoreboards are updated every day after the end of NBA games, so you can see how you stand against your friends and the public.
End of Gameweek
The results for each week of the game are confirmed shortly after the end of all NBA games.
Leaderboards are then updated so you can track performance against your friends and the general public.
Delayed and canceled games
If an NBA game is postponed to a date in the same week of play, points related to the game will be counted in the same week of play.
If an NBA game is postponed and moved to another week of play, points related to the game will be counted in the new week of the game for which it is scheduled again.
If an NBA game is canceled, there will be no points regarding the canceled game in NBA Fantasy.
