The new South Korean hit series “Hellbound” Season 1 broke all rating records in record time and climbed to the very top of the most-watched series as of this writing.
Hellbound Season 1 arrived at Netflix on November 19, 2021, and recorded a huge success in less than 24 hours.
Hellbound series plot
At the center of the action, a group of violent demons hunts down individuals who have been previously announced when and where they are gonna die. No matter how far they get, the demons eventually catch up with them and drag them to hell, leaving only ashes on Earth. Collective hysteria and numerous religious debates are starting. The mystery of the demons will be discovered by a police detective, a journalist, and a lawyer, and thus, consequently, to explain the events.
Viewers can experience the ultimate tension through six episodes on Netflix.
The series was directed by Yeon Sang-ho and premiered in September at the Toronto Film Festival.
Will there be a Hellbound season 2?
Is there gonna be a season 2 of the Hellbound series? well, I’m quite positive that we’ll watch a new Hellbound Season 2 series. There are no official stamens yet, but I have a feeling that will be soon. Who doesn’t wanna watch violent demons and all that rucksack? Maybe this time demons will be hunted down by men. Is it gonna be Renewed or Canceled? my bet is Renewed.
Hellbound Season 2 Release Date
Well, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the official statement from Netflix about the series renewal. But my guess is in summer 2022.
Hellbound Season 2 Cast
As for the Hellbound Season 2 cast, It should be pretty much the same but of course with some new characters of course. I can see these characters back in action, Jin Kyeong-hoon (Yang Ik-june), Bae Young-jae (Park Jeong-min), Song So-hyun (Won Jin-ah), Min Hye-jin (Kim Hyun-joo), and Jeong Jin-soo (Yoo Ah-in).
