HONOR announced his upcoming Magic V foldable smartphone just a few days ago, and now we have some information about the specifications that we will see on this company’s first foldable phone. The popular DCS tipster has shared a list of specifications that could be associated with the “prototype” version of Magic V.
According to reports that have appeared on the networks, Magic V will offer a classic folding shape and compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It will have a large vertical external screen and a folding internal screen. The external screen will have a cutout for a selfie camera with an opening in the upper central part of the screen and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the internal folding screen will have a 50MP main camera with a cutout in the upper left corner and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. DCS also believes that Samsung will not only win in the chipset department, but also in the battery charging department. Tipster claims that the HONOR Magic V will have a 66W fast wired charge. Finally, he adds that the foldable phone will work under Android 12, reports Pocketnow.
We expect the company to reveal more information about competitor Galaxy Z Fold 3 at the CES 2022 event, in a few days.
