Check out the first official teaser trailer for “Men,” the latest thought-provoking psychological thriller by screenwriter and director Alex Garland, the famous “Ex Machina” and “Annihilation”.
In the film, she plays the recent Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley (Lost Daughter) as an Englishwoman who, going through a process of grief, decides to retire to the countryside, only to discover a strange and worse feeling that someone is stalking her.
In addition to Buckley, the cast also includes Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful, No Time to Die) and Paap Essied (I May Destroy You, Gangs of London).
Men Movie plot
After a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats herself to beautiful English nature, hoping to find a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding forest seems to be stalking her. What begins as a smoldering fear becomes a fully formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears in the feverish new horror film of visionary filmmaker Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation) that changes shape.
