Denver Nuggets basketball player Michael Porter Jr. will have to have back surgery.
Nuggets MPJ was injured in the NBA game against the Houston Rockets and has not practiced since. It turned out to be a lower back injury, an injury that plagued him even before he entered the NBA league.
Due to back problems, MPJ dropped to 15th place in the draft, from where he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets.
Now, apparently, he is done for the season, since his agent told ESPN that he will be out of the NBA action for a long time after the operation.
Denver starts a seven-game trip in Miami playing Heat tonight. Nuggets (9-10) six games losing streak have been without three max players: Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Michael Porter Jr.
When is MPJ coming back from injury
He is expected to fully recover, and when he will return will be known after the operation, most likely for the next 2022/23 NBA season
