Muliner showcased the unique Bentley Bentayga Speed Space Edition with unique design features. The car was ordered by an exclusive British brand showroom from Orlando in the United States.
The regular Bentayga Speed is painted in metallic gray with green details dedicated to the 2003 Continental GT. The Blackline specification adds a high-gloss black trim, and the carbon fiber elements are accentuated by orange. Bentley said the inspiration for the use of orange was found in "the dust of comets rushing across the night sky."
The cabin has been given style options called Beluga and Porpoise, and there is also a tile showing the planets of the solar system. Bronze paint was again used for seams and upholstery, and it is also found in the finishing of the steering wheel and gear selector. The whole car is inspired by the space coast of Florida, where the Kennedy Space Center and the Cape Canaveral Space Station are located.
Bentley said the Mulliner design team has already met 100 vehicle personalization requirements in 2022 and that’s twice as many compared to the same period last year.
The Bentayga is currently Bentley’s best-selling model. The company sold more than 28,500 copies of this SUV model, which was a huge contribution to the record positive business in 2021. Bentayga, which is now sold as a hybrid, accounted for 40% of sales of this luxury brand last year.
