The NBA league has approved the continuation of the play-in format for the 2021/2022 season
When is NBA 2021-22 Start Date
The NBA 2021-22 season begins on Oct. 19, 2021. Each team will play 82 games in the regular season.
Throughout the season, the league will feature NBA 75 classics as part of the teams, players, coaches, and memorable moments that defined 75 years of NBA basketball.
The three franchises that played in each NBA season the New York Knicks, the Boston Celtics, and the Golden State Warriors – will face each other in December: the Warriors – Knicks on December 14, the Warriors – Celtics on December 17, and the Knicks and Celtics on December 18.
When is NBA 2021-22 End Date
The NBA 2021-22 season ends on April 10, 2022.
NBA 2021-22 Play-In
They will play in the same principle as the previous season when the teams from the seventh to the tenth place in both conferences will play each other for the seventh and eighth place in the playoffs.
The play-in tournament will be played between April 12-15 in the 2021/2022 season, between the last day of the regular season April 10, and the start of the playoffs on April 16, 2022.
Teams can negotiate with free players from August 2, and they can sign contracts from August 6.
The summer league is on the program between August 8-17 in Las Vegas, and training camps begin September 28, 2022
