The animated series based on the award-winning video game, THE CUPHEAD SHOW! will be released on Netflix in the second month of this year.
The new adventures of Cuphead and his brother Mugman should be played out in mid-2022 in an expansion called Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course. But before that, we will be able to follow the duo in the animated series on Netflix.
The Cuphead Show! it should convey the spirit and atmosphere of the game itself down to the smallest detail (with the exception of its hellish weight :)). Behind the production of the series is Netflix Animation, which is headed by multi-award winning producers such as Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) and Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling). Also, Chad and Jared Moldenhaur from Studio MDHR are working on the series as executive producers. According to everything we could see so far,
Admittedly, this is not the first look at the series as four episodes have unauthorizedly appeared on 4chan. In any case, the series is visually very faithful to the specific look of Cuphead and at times reminds us of the game itself. The music is also top notch and the whole thing looks pretty fun. A total of 12 episodes await us which should shorten our wait until the DLC for the game itself.
