Manhart has unveiled its Mercedes-AMG SL variant, which is 585hp in factory form thanks to a four-liter V8 engine. The car got a recognizable black color and typical Mahnart graphics, and the visual changes were accompanied by a significant increase in power.
New turbochargers, a new intercooler and a carbon intake have been installed. These are all published details for now, and the result is 811HP and 1000Nm of maximum torque, which are transmitted to the rear wheels with special Mahnhart wheels.

The tuner house has not released performance data, but given that the standard Mercedes-AMG SL63 arrives from standstill at 100km / h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a maximum of 315km / h, it is reasonable to assume that the SL 800 R is faster. Suspension modifications lower the car, but details have not been released. Manhart notes that there are “additional options” for adjusting the performance, appearance of the exterior and interior.
The price is not known yet, since the project was just presented on February 8. The tuner house is already taking orders.
