Peugeot has confirmed that it will present the electric e-308 next year (2023). It will be the first fully electric passenger model on Stellantis ’EMP2 platform, along with the future Opel Astrom, and the first model in this group to feature SUS, plug-in hybrid and electric propulsion.
The Peugot e-208 and e-2008 have a 50kWh battery and a 135hp electric generator, but the e-308 will use a larger 54kWh battery and a more powerful 155hp. Peugeot announces a maximum range of over 250 miles or 400km. The battery specs has also been changed to shorten the charging time, 100kW fast charging capability, and battery weight of around 1,600 kg (3,530 pounds).

The e-308’s equipment levels are expected to be comparable to those for the e-208, which is divided into the basic Active, the more comfortable Allure Premium and GT Premium as the most sporty, and will follow packages from petrol and hybrid variants.
