Back in 2019, Toyota and Subaru confirmed that they are jointly developing a fully electric crossover, on a platform that will be used by several future models.
Toyota (called bZ4X) was the first to present its version, while Subaru recently released a couple of teaser images and the name of its version of this crossover – Subaru Solterra (lat. “Sun” and “Earth”).
However, after the recent promotion of the Toyota bZ4X, now Subaru is ready for the premiere of the Solterra and it will take place on November 11th.
In any case, it is an electric crossover of the C segment, made on the e-TNGA platform.

The large wheelbase, according to the manufacturer’s announcements, provides the largest legroom in the class for all passengers, and there is also a trunk with a volume of 452 liters.

Subaru Solterra Battery Specs
As with the Toyota bZ4X, the battery is expected to continue to operate at 90% of its original performance (target values during development, even after 10 years of driving, and the life and mileage are projected to be 10 years or 240,000 km, which before performances).
It should be reminded that the Toyota bZ4X will also be available in a version with front-wheel drive only and a single electric motor with 150 kW / 204 hp and 265 Nm of torque, so the question remains whether Subaru will also offer this version.

There is no official announcement but expected price for 2023 Subaru Solterra is $37,000 est.
Subaru Solterra 2023 Release Date
According to earlier announcements, the Solterra EV 2023 will arrive on the market in the middle of next year 2022, and will be sold in Europe, and the Unites States.
