The U.S. spec model is most likely to offer a base rear-wheel-drive single-motor powertrain with around 200 horsepower and an upgrade all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup with around 300 hp.
ID.Buzz, as far as we know, is based on Volkswagen’s modular platform MEB, ie the same version of it that is used for SUV ID.4. The new ID.Buzz will have a range of at least 500 kilometers on a single battery charge. It should be able to accommodate up to eight passengers or carry just over 4,600 liters of cargo.

Such a vehicle is called Volkswagen ID.Buzz AD (Autonomous Driving), and it will primarily be used to transport passengers in urban areas. The German manufacturer has not announced much information yet, but it has been announced that ID.Buzz AD will appear in 2025 and will have an autonomous driving system developed by Argo AI (among other things, it has a Lidar on the roof that can detect distant objects and more than 400 meters).
