According to Mac Rumors, the new device will have the same M1 Pro i M1 Max chips that is Apple presented with MacBook Pro models, and may be “additionally configured”.
It is also said that Apple uses the Pro label to distinguish the upcoming iMac from the 24-inch iMac that was released earlier this year.

iMac Pro Release Date
iMac Pro will be launched in the first half of 2022. The upcoming iMac Pro will replace the current 27-inch iMac, an Intel-based model.
In the meantime, we haven’t heard much about Apple’s larger iMac, but sources have confirmed that is under construction as well. Apple has reportedly paused work on the larger iMac to work on the 24-inch model, but now that the 24-inch iMac has come out, development can continue.
