New information about the chipset reveals the key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 device

If everything goes according to plan, Samsung Galaxy S22 the phone series should be the first premium model we’ll see in 2022 – and a new data leak gives us some clues about the chipsets that will power these phones.

Famous pager Max Weinbach confirms that all three models – Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra – will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 or Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the region in which it will be sold.

Neither Qualcomm nor Samsung processors have been released yet but this sounds like what we expected, based on predictions.

When it comes to design, based on leaked renders, it looks like the Ultra model will look significantly different from the other two Galaxy S22 phones.

Screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz are likely to be standard in all models regardless of region, with the S22 and S22 Plus having slightly smaller screens than last time (6.06 inches and 6.55 inches), and the S22 Ultra larger (6, 81 inches) compared to its predecessor.

As for when we will actually see these phones, there is already controversy: it was thought to be in January 2022, a year after the Galaxy S21 devices appeared, but the latest rumors suggest that the S22 series will be in February again, like it used to be.

Galaxy S21 phones came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPUs in the US and China and Samsung Exynos 2100 CPUs in other markets. That Samsung will repeat the same this year, was already predicted earlier, so this information is quite expected.

It is also rumored that pressures in the supply chain are forcing Samsung to make the Snapdragon version of its leading Galaxy models available in even more regions this time.

The question most people have is how will this affect performance. Traditionally, the Exynos and Snapdragon models of these phones are now quite similar in terms of power, and we believe that Samsung could make a bigger step forward in 2022.
