The executive director of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, has new information on iPhone SE+ 5G which he shared on Twitter. Production of the display for the new model starts this month, which means that Apple can present the SE+ in late April or early May and will be able to start delivering orders in the same period.

iPhone SE plus specs
The new model will use the old design, according to all the information so far. There is little uncertainty as to whether it will continue to use the same 4.7-inch LCD with the Touch ID button on the front. One thing is clear though, the focus of this release will be 5G connectivity.

The 2020 SE model was powered by an Apple A13 chipset and had a 4G modem (same configuration as the iPhone 12 series from half a year earlier). The new SE will get a newer chipset and modem – rumors from a few months ago claimed that it would use the same Apple A15 chip and Snapdragon X60 modem as the iPhone 13 series. It is expected that storage options will continue as 64/128/256G for a new iPhone SE plus 5G . It’s possible that iPhone SE could have a dual camera like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini.
iPhone SE plus 5G cost
The new iPhone SE Plus price is expected around of $499 for 64GB of storage. and for 128GB option would likely cost at least $50 more.
New iPhone SE plus release date
The iPhone SE+ 5G should be launched along with the new iPad Air, which will likely run the same A15 chipset sometimes in late April, or early May.
TSMC’s 5 nm product lines will be very busy, given that the iPhone 13 series is quite popular, and there are several new devices based on the A15 chipset, reports Apple Insider.
