According to the latest information from insiders, Apple will put a notch in the display in the new MacBook Pro model.
The new MacBook Pro will have a new display design and a cutout will be implemented in it, which will house a microphone, a TrueTone sensor, and a 1080p camera.
MacBook Pro 2021 Specs
The displays will have a 16:10 aspect ratio and will be for MacBook Pro 14 inches (with a resolution of 3456×2234) and MacBook Pro 16 inches (with a resolution of 3024×1964).
The screens of the new MacBook Pro models will be mini-LED.
It will also have a Touch ID sensor, the new keyboard on a black background no longer has a Touchbar. Apple is returning to traditional keyboards, which has delighted users.
These are 10-core chips (8 + 2) with 16 and 32 graphics cores each, capable of providing 32 and 64 GB of shared working memory, respectively. The processors in the M1 Pro and Max are 70 percent faster than those in the M1, with at least twice the graphics performance. Both models will be available with the M1 Pro or M1 Max.
The redesigned case is now rounded at the lower edges, it is similar in thickness as before, and on its sides it brings back the ports that Apple at some point tried to replace with USB-C ports and accessories.
The new MacBook Pro returns the MagSafe charging connector, there is HDMI, an SD card slot, with USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 ports through which it is still possible to charge the device.
In a case of similar dimensions to the model with a 13-inch screen, Apple packed an inch larger screen, so now we offer 14 and 16-inch models. These are “Liquid Retina XDR” screens, which in Apple language means MiniLED screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a large dynamic range. There is also a new clip at the top of the screen (notch) in which the 1080p webcam is placed, but FaceID did not reach Mac despite the notch.
