As she struggles with a writer’s blockade, the book’s author is struck by a sudden burst of inspiration after moving her entire family to a haunted house in this new darkly comic supernatural series “Shining Vale,” for which an official trailer has been released.
In the series “Shining Vale” she plays Courteney Cox from Scream as a writer struggling with novels who starts writing again after making friends with a ghost who is now haunting her new home. The ghost here is played by Mira Sorvino.
The dark comedy series, created by Jeff Astrof (Trial & Error) and Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe), also stars Greg Kinnear, Sherilyn Fenn, Gus Birney, Dylan Gage, Merrin Dungey and Judith Light.
