Toyota has also announced several interesting innovations that will be presented to the public at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon (January 14-16).
First of all, there is the Toyota GR GT3, which is only said to be a “race car concept that incorporates the knowledge and sophisticated technology that TGR has acquired in the field of motorsport.”
While there are no details, it won’t be a surprise if it’s a hybrid with knowledge borrowed from the GR010 Hybrid or the announced GR Super Sport.
The second teaser image shows a completely modified GR Yaris, perhaps as an announcement for a potential GRMN version.
In any case, the car will have, among other things, a carbon fiber hood with air vents, a widebody kit and a striking rear spoiler.
As ow this writing we don’t have any more specs info as well as the price and the release date for a new Toyota GR GT3 Concept and Toyota GR Yaris. Keep you posted
