We have been hearing about Fr. Xiaomi his subbrand and his new one Redmi K50 series, and although there is no news from the company about its launch yet, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station says that the Redmi K50 line is planned to be officially presented at the end of February 2022. It is no surprise since the K40 series was presented in the same period this year.
Tipster also claims that, like the K40 line, the Xiaomi Redmi K50 series smartphones will consist of four models, probably called the Redmi K50, K50 Redmi Pro, Redmi K50 Pro + and Redmi K50 Gaming.

The Redmi K50 Pro + smartphone is expected to run the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the K50 Pro will have a Snapdragon 870 chipset. On the other hand, the vanilla K50 and K50 Gaming are expected to come with the Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000.
The Redmi K50 Gaming is rumored to have a 64 MP primary camera and comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, while the K50 Pro + is said to have a 108MP primary camera to which a telephoto periscope unit has been added.
We’ve also heard rumors about the Redmi K50 series coming with a 100W charge and IP68 dust and water resistance, but don’t expect these features on all four models.
