The comedy HBO MAX stars New Zealand comedian Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords, What We Do in the Shadows) as Sted Bonnet, a real spoiled wealthy 18th-century aristocrat who became a Barbadian pervert and was often referred to as “The Mr. Pirate. ” Taika Waititi will also guest star as the infamous Blackbeard pirate.
Actors also include Kristian Nairn, Nathan Foad, Samson Kayo, Rory Kinnear, Con O’Neill, Vico Ortiz, Ewen Bremner, David Fane, Joel Fry, Guz Khan and Matthew Maher, along with guest stars Leslie Jones, Nat Faxon, Fred Armisen and Samba Schutte.
