Renault has already unveiled a prototype of the electric retro model 5 earlier this year (a serial version is expected in 2023), but there are plans to revive another legend of the French factory.
Namely, this year Renault is marking the 60th anniversary of the legendary “four” (more than 8 million copies were made since 1961 and 1992), which will be an opportunity to show the concept of a modern version with electric drive.

Earlier this year, there were rumors that Renault could prepare a “surprise” related to the modern “four” in November this year, in the form of an electric concept. The latest news says that this will happen, on November 26, with the 2023 Renault Air4 concept vehicle, which will serve as an announcement for a future EV inspired by the look of the former Renault 4.
According to earlier announcements, such a vehicle should use the CMF-B platform and would be part of Renault’s plans to present seven new, fully electric models by 2025.
The standard Renault 4 with electric drive can be expected on the market after the new Renault 5, but more details are yet to come.
