BMW is working on a new generation of the 5 Series, which is due to be launched in 2023. Like some related models, the popular Bavarian sedan will also get an electric version, which is expected to be called the i5. For the first time, photos of the interior of the future electric car are available.
As you can see, the BMW i5 (2024) will get rid of the physical buttons in favor of the touch screen. The gear selector will be smaller than the one we can see in current BMW models. Switches and buttons on the steering wheel will also be removed, except for two dedicated switches that look like scroll wheels on computer “mice”, they write. Hot Tires. What is also noticeable is the new steering wheel design, as well as the modified center console. The rest of the control units on the steering wheel come in the form of a touch-sensitive platform, which we are already used to with newer BMWs.

The exterior design is adorned with a form typical of German cars. What we can notice is the different style of the door window line, while the door handles also differ in relation to what we can find in the current 5 series.
