The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle game price, release date

As previously announced, Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios presented a new big chapter for their big MMORPG hit The Elder Scrolls Online during a special reveal event.

High Isle is a new big expansion that is part of the Legacy of the Bretons saga, which includes a complete new content for The Elder Scrolls Online coming this year. The biggest addition to this game that we will see this year should offer us a 30 hour long new story and take us to a completely new region and never explored Systres archipelago that includes High Isle and Amenos Islands. Thanks to this expansion, players will get the opportunity to peek a little deeper into the home of Breton and meet a much different, chivalrous society on the brink of a great war.

With a completely new story, full of chivalry, political tricks and intrigue, High Isle comes with several other significant novelties. There’s first and foremost Tales of Tribute, which is actually a brand new in-game collector’s card game. A new trial for 12 players called Dreadsail Reeef, new World Events known as Fissures, as well as two new companions (Ember and Isobel) and a bunch of dungeons, boss fights and completely original quests await us.

It is already possible to pre-order the High Isle Expansion, and anyone who does so by April 4 will receive a Palefrost Elk mount and a Palefrost Elk Fawn pet as a gift. Of course, a few more in-game bonuses await them in the form of additional costumes, maps and double XPs.

By the way, there will be four different editions of this expansion on offer:

  • The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: High Isle. Price $39.99

  • The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Upgrade. Price $59.99
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Upgrade Collector’s Edition. Price $79.99

The collection releases will offer access to other chapters / expansions of this MMORPG (Morrowind, Summerset, Elseweyr, Greymoor and Blackwood), making them an ideal choice for all those who are just now planning to dive into the magical world of this hit. On the other hand, Upgrade releases contain only High Isle, which makes them interesting only to die-hard Elder Scrolls Online players.
