Even though MediaTek surpassed Qualcomm and announced its 4nm flaship Dimensity 9000 SoC long before its competitor, devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will appear on the market earlier than MediaTek’s offerings.
According to a tipster on Weibo, the first Dimensity 9000 smartphones will be launched in February if everything goes according to plan. For comparison, flagship devices equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 are expected to be introduced this year. Information says that Motorola and Xiaomi 12 will offer the chipset in December, reports GSM Arena.
