Rolls-Royce will become one of the first luxury car manufacturers with a rich history to launch a fully electric model, the future Specter.
Specter is expected in the second half of this year, and Rolls-Royce is rapidly working on a replacement for the Wraith model without carbon emissions.
The model has been spotted several times during testing when it was protected by camouflage, with the exception of just a few parts of the car.
Russian shop Kolesa.ru based on spy photos, he made renderings that suggest the appearance of the Specter model from all angles, and it can be said that it looks like a more modern version of the Wraith model. However, Rolls-Royce definitely does not want such a binding because Specter is based on the Architecture of Luxury platform it shares with Ghost and Phantom, unlike the Wraith, which uses BMW’s platform.
The final design of the Specter is hard to figure out, but it will probably have split headlights. While it won’t use BMW’s platform, there are rumors that it will take over electric motors from BMW’s high-performance iX M60 SUV, which delivers around 600 hp. If the numbers remain the same, then the Specter should accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds and thus become one of the fastest Rolls models.
