Vivo along with smartphones S12 and S12 Pro, launched its new smartwatch, Vivo Watch 2 In China. This is the successor to the Vivo Watch, which was launched in September 2020.
Vivo Watch 2 has significant upgrades over the previous model and has an OLED screen, waterproof of 5ATM, support for e-SIM, SOS function and more. Unlike its predecessor, the Watch 2 is only available in one size of 46 mm. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Vivo Watch 2.
Vivo Watch 2 price and release date
The Vivo Watch 2 will be available for €180 (around 205 USD) and will go on sale on December 29 in China. The company offers it in three different colors – Silver Wing, Breaking Dawn and Force Black. There is no official information about the launch of this wearable device in India.
Vivo Watch 2 specs
The Vivo Watch 2 has a 46mm circular dial that has a 1.43-inch OLED screen with support for a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It features a frameless design. It has two physical buttons on the right side and is equipped with a 316L stainless steel housing. Consumers will be able to change the silicone straps on the watch. The watch offers water resistance up to 5ATM, which means that you can also use it for swimming, reports MySmartPrice.
It has an SOS emergency mode that sends alerts to fire departments, police or hospitals, even when your smartphone is not paired. Vivo Watch 2 expires a battery that lasts up to 14 days with e-SIM off and 7 days with e-SIM on. e-SIM on Watch 2 allows users to send and receive SMS and calls without connecting their smartphones. It also comes with support for Himalaya FM and Netease Cloud Music which allows direct streaming of music. It also comes with 2 GB of built-in memory for storing music.
The Watch 2 comes with 47 sports modes that include running, walking, swimming, cycling and more. Vivo Watch 2 has a built-in GPS for outdoor activities. It can measure SpO2, heart rate, stress and monitor sleep. The Watch 2 comes with features such as a smart calendar, smart travel service, Jovi voice assistant and smart home control, NFC.
