Everyone is wondering is there going to be Inventing Anna season 2. The popular tv show is a limited series and it is based on a true story, and it is supposed to be just one season. But who watched the series could notice some parts are missing, and what happed to her after she got out of prison?
Let’s see why there could be a season 2 of Inventing Anna
Ana Sorokin aka Anna Delvey was found guilty and sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison. But one year ago, after three years in prison, she was released for good behavior, this made me laugh, Good Behavior! She was cursing and being a pain in the ass pretty much in every scene. I guess people change.
She paid her debts from the money she got from Netflix and started living a luxurious life again, that doesn’t surprise me. Ana Sorokin gave a many interviews, she even launched her fashion line, and hired again a video cameraman to follow and record every step of her new life. But she forgot one very important thing.
In March 2021, Ana Sorokin was arrested because her US visa expired. She was deported, but she did not agree to it, that doesn’t surprise me, so she submitted a request for asylum. The reason her family living in Germany has received numerous threats, riiiight. However, the request for asylum was rejected a few months later, which she appealed at the moment.
She is still in custody in New York, and the chances of receiving asylum status are very small to nothing. I can see here a good story developing for a second season.
Where her loyal lawyer Todd Spodek is trying to fight the US administration to grant Ana Sorokin a visa. With all drama and some comedy twists and turns. Just as a reminder Netflix paid Ana Sorokin $320,000 to get the rights for the tv show. I could tell some more money is coming for the second season.
